Women’s Tennis Falls to CCNY, 6-1

JAMAICA, N.Y.— The York College women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to The City College of New York in a CUNY Athletic Conference match on Tuesday afternoon on the York College Courts.

Two of the matches could not be finished because of darkness. The Cardinals lone win came at third doubles when CCNY was forced to default after arriving late.

With the loss, York falls to 1-8 overall and 0-3 in CUNYAC play. CCNY improves to 2-3 overall and 1-3 in CUNYAC play. The Cardinals will host Hunter College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
