Women’s Tennis Suffers Conference Loss to CCNY
RESULTS
JAMAICA, N.Y. - The York College women's tennis team was unable to stop the City College of New York Sunday, losing by a score of 6-3.
Natalie DeSabato, who earned victories in her first flight singles and doubles matches, led CCNY to victory. However, York did not go down without a fight, winning three singles flight matches in a row.
Anna Ko defeated Katrina Bautista 6-2, 6-2 in her #2 singles match, while
Nikita Ramsay followed with 6-3, 6-2 win. Kameesha Sylvester added York's third victory by defeating Oluwatobi Ojo 2-6, 6-3, 11-9 in the fourth flight.
York will return to action on Monday for their final regular season home match when they host Lehman College at 3:30 p.m.
