York Runs at Bard Invitational Saturday

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY— The York College men's and women's cross country teams took a trip upstate to run at the Bard Invitational on Saturday. With over 120 runners in each race, the Cardinals squad had their work cut out for them.
The top finisher for the women was
Joviette Frederick, who finished the 5k course in 98
th place with a time of 26:22. The top male finisher for York was
Anthony Parsons who placed 83
rd in the 8k race in a time of 32:56. 32.56.
Lizzy Mahoney (18:44) of Hunter College won the women's race, while Conor Cashin (26:24) of SUNY Cobleskill was the men's winner. The team winners were St. Joseph's College (47 points) for the women and Cobleskill (34 points) for the men. York did not score as a team for either squad.
The Cardinals will run at the Hunter Invitational on Sunday, September 25 at Van Cortlandt Park.
