Women’s Volleyball “Pink Day” is October 27

JAMAICA, NY— The York College women's volleyball team will be holding its annual “Pink Day” on Thursday, October 27 when the Cardinals take on St. Elizabeth College and Rutgers-Newark University at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively.

All competing teams will be wearing pink uniforms in an effort to raise breast cancer awareness. Coach Andre Titus is hopeful that the event can help spread the word the best way to fight breast cancer is through early detection.

It will be a busy day at York, since Pink Day will be held in conjunction with Faculty Appreciation Day. You can read more about that event here.
