Track and Field Competes at St. John’s Monday Meeting

, NY— The York College Track and Field team made the short trip to St. John's University Monday to run at the St. John's Monday Meeting.  The Cardinals put together a strong effort competing against a number of local Division I and II schools. 

 

York junior Alexandra Nkrumah led the Cardinals with a second place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (16.53). Nkrumah also finished sixth out of 18 competitors in the 400-meter hurdles (1:04.62) to lead York in the track events.   

 

In the field events, Shanine Bogan earned a sixth place finish in the shot put with a distance of 11.55 meters.

 

On the men's side, Chinedu Agu finished third overall in the 400-meter run (52.08).
