The York College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be holding a "Socks for Soldiers" drive from now through February 7, 2018.
 
The purpose of the "Socks for Soldiers" drive is to collect new socks for U.S. soldiers deployed overseas.  Socks are one of the most requested donation items from U.S. soldiers.
 
The drive will be held in conjunction with York's Military Appreciation Night, which will take place on February 8 when the York men's and women's basketball teams host John Jay College beginning at 5:30 p.m.
 
Those who want to donate socks can drop them off in the Health & Physical Education Complex, Room 109B from 10 a.m.- 2p .m., Monday-Friday.
